Bioinformatics is study of the biological systems related molecular biology, genetics, computer science, mathematics, and statistics. Some common techn iques are genetic mapping and analysing DNA and RNA, and protein sequences, sequencing of DNA analysis of different data, and developing 3-D models of protein structures.The important research in the field of bioinformatics include gene sequencing, gene finding, genome assembly; protein structure alignment, gene expression studies and interactions of protein-protein, and the modelling of evolution trees. Some common tools in Bioinformatics are BLAST, SOAP, REST, SSS (Sequence Search Services), MSA and BSA. 2D gel electrophoresis, mass spectroscopy and molecular markers are important techniques to analyze the sequencing.
